Wara Straw in Juraku Wall
Let the mystery of Wara and Juraku be solved today. Wara basically means natural straw from rice stalks, wheat and grains. Having a long history of rice culture, there is an abundance of straw which are easily accessible to use product of nature into building products which is environmental friendly.
Juraku basically refers to earthy colors -dak yellow or brownish color with black spots or straw (wara). Juraku derives from Juraku-Dai Castle in Kyoto which was built in the 16th century by Hideyoshi Toyotomi, one of the most remarkable men and unifiers of pre-modern Japan. Juraku-Dai is very gorgeous like palace and had many tea ceremony rooms.
Juraku wall is applied by trowel.
