How Long Can Japanese Wall Last?
As long as the underlaying surface is properly treated, i.e. free of dust, free of knotholes (especially plywood), clean and dry, enjoy our Zen Wall for as long as you are not tired with the Color!
The untold secret of Japanese Wall which holds it so well is the intensive research and development done in the lab on Ethylene Vinyl Acetate, which is a non-toxic, recyclable compound added as the bonding emulsion. Because it comes in liquid form, it is easlily solluble and mixed well with water to provide a consistency in adhesion. EVA is hard-wearing, resistant to corrosion and fire resistant.
The fact that EVA is also used in biomedical engineering applications in drugs makes Japanese Wall an even safer wall.
Note: For normal individuals, mixing the Japanese Wall by hand will not cause any allergy or sensitivity.
