Initially, we thought this color was quite dark, but it turned out pretty neat, especially with the wara-laced effect. For those of you still wondering what wara is, and have not read thoroughly our website www.japanesewall.com.... wara = straw. Mind you, it is not just ordinary straw bale. It is recycled rice stalk straw which have been treated so that we can stay peace of mind from bugs! No kidding...By the way, this is also a Juraku color. Try it, and you will love it. I suggest adding another half sac of wara#7 (wabi straw size).
